Please go ahead and post your comments on the academic paper(s) you have been looking at. At least try to identify the thesis, or main purpose of the paper.
Also, I would welcome your comments on other people's posts. I have made a couple of comments on papers that included abstracts, which is a kind of summary that comes at the beginning of the paper. Papers like this often don't express the thesis statement in quite the same way, but it should still be possible to identify the main purpose of the paper.
Please comment on other people's posts, as well as making your own post.
